Just wanted to say "thank you" for a great job well done!!  This was THE BEST reunion yet and although it took many committee members alot of hard  work to achieve a successful event, what you did was "amazing."  Jim and I just enjoyed the music CDE while driving and it brought us back to high school days again.

Thanks again and continue to send the emails of beautiful places from around the world.

Sincerely,
Angela Bruni

I want to commend all of you for creating an outstanding 50th Reunion party on Saturday night.  Your attention to detail was obvious as the night went so smoothly.  I heard wonderful positive comments about Friday night, too.  Kudos to all of you and thank you!

What a great get together. I am sure that all who were there had a wonderful time. It was my pleasure to be on this committee to help plan + get it all arranged. Some did sooo much more then others, + I for one am greatful for all of their efforts. Some classmates asked me how we could possibly top this weekend. Some were sorry they didn't come on Fri night. Are we having a wrap meeting? If so, let me know. My best to you all.

I just have to share this with you all.

Don't know if any of you on the committee spoke with Ms Wexler at the reunion or if she gave you the same praise and thanks that she gave me to convey to the committee. Wish I could remember everything she said. She said so many complimentary things that I wish I could have video taped her while she was speaking.

She asked me if I was on the committee that planned the reunion and when I said "yes" she told me the following:

She has attended many reunions but never one like this. She said it was the best organized and most smoothly run reunion she ever attended. It was obvious to her that the committee worked very hard and should be commended for the outstanding job they all did to make this a memorable reunion. She was very impressed with the way all the activities were planned and executed including the picture taking, the structure of the program, the speakers, decorations and most of all the Memorial Tribute! She said that Memorial Tribute really touched her because it was so meaningful and very well done. She has never before seen any class do a Memorial Tribute that way.

She went on and on to compliment the committee and said, "You really know how to throw a party! Thank you for inviting me and please promise you will invite me to your next Reunion!" She seemed very excited to tell me what a wonderful evening it was.

I told Ms Wexler that the committee is very dedicated, has excellent leadership that is well experienced and we all enjoyed doing the work to make it special.  I told her it was a lot of work but we had many hands to help. I also said that we are so pleased that she was able to attend and are pleased that she enjoyed the evening so much.

I said that I would be sure to convey her compliments to the committee. (Wish you had all been there to hear her!)

I personally want to say thanks everyone for such an unforgettable weekend that ended with a magnificent Saturday evening event.

A special thanks to Suzanne Shank, Larry Reed and Alice Nagle for giving of their own time and talents over the last 50 years to execute so professionally all the Reunions of the NHS CLASS OF 60.

Special thanks to you Dave Wetzel for the untold hours of work you did to make so much happen. Thanks for the website, DVDs, Booklets, pictures, technology and sound equipment and whatever else you did behind the scenes. We couldn't have done it without you.

Working on this committee was a lot of fun and I appreciate being able to work with such willing and committed people. It was great to be with so many friends from school. Hope we can keep in touch.  I miss you all already!

You have all helped make the 50th Reunion of the Class of 60 the BEST EVER!!!

I received a 3 page letter from Barbara Wexler, yesterday, extoling her "fabulous evening".  I thought you might want to send this out to the rest of the reunion committee.  As I said before when I try to send a "reply to all", from a committee message, I can't, because it goes into "error" and will not send!?

        Barbara writes:
"I'm suggesting that you, Suzanne and the rest of the committee develop a kit on 'How to Have A Memorable High School Class Reunion."  Think about it.

I've been to many class reunions including those of my own high school class, and I am saying that your 50th was, by far, the very best of them all!  This is my  absolute unsolicited honest opinion....The 'In Memoriam' presentation showed the thoughtfulness and consideration of your membership.  No gathering I've ever   attended has remembered it's lost mates---something that should be incorporated in the event. I was truly moved....The real core of the event, however, was the  brotherhood (and let's not forget the sisterhood) that pervaded the room.  The love, the pride, and once again the loyalty everyone held for the school filled every inch of the site and made the evening unforgettable.  So, on my scale, your class deserves a solid 10....Hearing about the successes of many and the joys of    retirement from those no longer working gave me an increased appreciation that life is really good no matter how much ugliness surrounds us each day in the     world....Please convey my thanks to the committee who produced the 'smash hit' that was your 50th.  The Class of 1960 is, indeed, a class act!"

Somehow, I knew I would receive a "great note" from Barbara, and her letter truly proves what a fabulous time she had!  It is so great that she was able to join us for our "big event".  Once again, it is a testament to the wonderful committee that we had to be able to produce such a great weekend!

OK, so like maybe trying to catch up on 50 years of missed Phillie Cheese Steak Sandwiches with sauce and Italian Hoagies with peppers from Lou's wasn't the best idea . . . as I can attest to based on my weight gain and occasional heart burn, but . . . all that aside, our two weeks in PA kicked off by what has to be the best reunion ever, was just wonderful and I'm certain, exceeded everyone's expectations.  Thank you for planning an event program and schedule that enabled those of us who were missing in action for so long the opportunity to renew acquaintances and friendships that due to your incredible attention to detail and thorough understanding of what a reunion of this significance should entail, made the entire experience enjoyable, stimulating and at times, emotional.  Even Carol, who never even knew or met 99 percent of our classmates, commented that she was made to feel so comfortable that she immediately felt as though she were part of our class.  Being so close to the event, in relatively close proximity to other classmates and may have maintained those friendships throughout these many years, may not realize just how impressive, thoughtful and special your efforts made the occasion for those of us who have not had that opportunity.

I could go on and on, but really just wanted to express Carol and my appreciation for your contributions: hard work, tedious planning, consideration and phenomenal execution and in making this experience one that will be remembered forever.

Thank you so very much,

Butch and Carol Romeis

PS:  If you are ever in Texas, give us a shout- we're in the book (the one you so meticulously put together)!!!
